This is a new project we just started in Dagsboro Delaware. We will be removing all the old Cedar shake siding and trim and replacing it with new Cedar impressions siding and Azek Trim. Selective Demolition or Interior demolition is when only parts of a building are removed but the structure remains intact. In this case we were asked to remove everything on the interior of this retail space to make way for a new tenant. We had to demolish all the floors, this included tile, carpet  and composite vinyl flooring. We then had to grind down the floors and remove all glue and thin set for allow for the new floor finishes. We also had to remove the suspended ceiling system, the ceiling system grid, all the duct work and the plumbing lines. We removed 2 hot water heaters, and all the bathroom appliances. We then had to patch any holes on the concrete floors. We got this done in 2 1/2 days.

For this project, Apex Construction was hired to perform interior demolition services at an old Super Fresh Supermarket that is becoming a Family Dollar. The scope of work included, floor demolition, wall demolition, cutting new openings, saw cutting, ceiling and ceiling grid demolition. We brought in our skid loader equipped with a scrubber to help with this project. The project was completed ahead of schedule and with no issues.

This is an interior demolition project in Ocean City Maryland. Apex Construction was contracted to demo the public restrooms at the Tanger Outlets in Ocean City Maryland in preparation for renovations.

This Selective demolition project included removing all ceiling tiles and suspended ceiling grid. Removing walls, bathrooms, fixtures, architectural features, tile, vct, cove base and grinding down floors to get them ready to accept new finishes.  We do a lot of  tenant fit outs in Maryland, Virginia and Delaware.  Selective demolition allows the owners of the property to bring in their new contractors to a totally prepared work space.
